Inverclyde Women’s Aid SCIO is a charitable organisation established in 1985.

We provide information and advice on domestic rape and sexual abuse, serving communities across Inverclyde, from Wemyss Bay to Kilmacolm.

Inverclyde Women's Aid Services

Inverclyde Women’s Aid is a voluntary organisation established in 1985 and a registered charity in Scotland. Our aim is to provide support to women, children and young people.

 

Refuge Accommodation

Housing Support Staff provide holistic wraparound services centred on an Individual Care Plan.

New Attitudes Project

Offers one-one support to young people to help them address some of the longer-term underlying issues.

Rape and Sexual Abuse

A confidential and specialist service for women and girls who have been raped or sexually abused.

Therapeutic Counsellor

Therapy for women who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse at any point in their lives.

Outreach Support

Providing outreach support to women, children and families who have experienced domestic abuse.

Children/Young People

Supporting children and young people in schools and living in Inverclyde who have been affected by adverse experiences.

Inverclyde Women’s Aid is operated by a trained team of friendly, therapeutic workers who will listen, support, provide information and advice. You can always call in confidence. After 4.30pm, your call is transferred to Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline which is open until 9.30am.

 

Women's Aid run various projects within the local community, raising awareness of our services and the support that is available to women, children and young people.
