Offering a safe place for women to come to talk about their experiences of Domestic Abuse

Outreach and
Follow On

We support CYP’s through our outreach service by providing 1-1 sessions, giving CYP’s the opportunity to access support within their school environment or at another location if needed. CYP are also able to make contact through texting or by telephone. We also work in partnership with Children 1st in delivering training sessions across Inverclyde primary schools aimed at P1-P7. Sessions provide an opportunity which allows CYP to positively express their emotions and feelings in an interactive and fun way.

We work closely with Inverclyde Community Learning and Development youth team delivering training sessions in local Secondary schools and further educational establishments targeting teenagers and young adults, raising awareness on healthy relationships, sexual bullying and reducing abuse.

As part of our service we also deliver the New Attitudes Programme in local schools, receiving referrals from a range of agencies. This programme delivers 10 sessions and is designed to work with CYP who have started to show signs of anti-social behaviour or have anger issues.
