Outreach service

Our Outreach service is available to any women who can’t come to our drop-in facility at our head office at 9 George Square Greenock.

If you are in need of our Outreach service we can arrange to meet you in a safe place.

Our Outreach Workers can also support you if you’re staying in temporary accommodation other than a refuge.

If you need extra help we can accompany you to meetings with the Housing Department, Social Services or Solicitors to make sure you get the advice you need.

You can make an appointment with an Outreach service by calling Inverclyde Women’s Aid on 01475 888505

The outreach service offers practical support through a variety of services. We provide appointments in our daycentre, out in the community, or home (if it is safe to do so).

We also provide resettlement support to women who have recently left refuge and have been re-housed in the area to ensure continuity of support during this transition period. We aim to keep women in the community safe and free from abuse. It is our responsibility to speak on behalf of women who experience domestic abuse and respond to their needs no matter how complex it may be.
